Busy Bee Janitorial & Environmental Services, Inc. is a minority-based firm that was incorporated in the District of Columbia in 1996. We have certifications in the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, National Certification and the Maryland Department of Transportation.

After years of marketing in the private sector our firm was awarded its first major contract in the spring of 1996. This is a commercial cleaning contract in which we provide nightly cleaning services for a 200,000 square foot office building located in the District of Columbia. We continue to provide services for this property and currently manage over 2,000,000 square feet of property throughout the metropolitan area. We service both commercial & government buildings ranging from 10,000 to 300,000 square feet, which require a multitude of janitorial services.

In nine years our growth has been steady because we have remained in the private sector. It has been our goal to establish a firm footing in this sector before we branch out and attempt to acquire larger public contracts. Our services have expanded to include parking lot machine sweeping and maintenance, interior & exterior window cleaning, pressure washing services, carpet cleaning and restoration, and minor construction services. Our firm has diversified to the point that we have provided janitorial maintenance to libraries, police stations, transfer stations, high-traffic parking lots, health services buildings, department stores, banks, high security level facilities, etc.

We at Busy Bee feel that our success can be attributed to the fact that every endeavor we attempt to tackle receives one hundred percent of our effort. Our corporate philosophy has been in place for some time now and we have been able to control three very important aspects of janitorial services: communication, attention to detail, and reliability.

Each employee has been meticulously recruited. They have been trained in various aspects of our specialty system of cleaning from vacuuming to carpet cleaning to bathroom care.

Busy Bee embraces the specialization concept of cleaning. Every cleaning specialist is an expert in his/her field. Floors, bathrooms, windows, carpet, etc., are maintained in a state of perfection by consistency.

All of our employees are bonded and have been screened with background checks for any previous criminal behavior and drug abuse.
